Job Description: The registered nurse will be working in a float position for Tele, Med/Surg, and inpatient Rehab units. The nurse will be required to work 36 or 48 hours per week, depending on the facility's needs. The start date for this position is 5/1, and the contract will last for 13 weeks.
As a Medical Surgical Float RN, the nurse will be responsible for providing direct patient care in various units of the hospital. This includes administering medications, performing assessments, and providing patient education. The nurse must have a thorough understanding of medical terminology and procedures, as well as the ability to quickly adapt to different environments and patient populations.
The ideal candidate for this position must hold an active Indiana or compact state RN license and have experience working in a float or similar position. The candidate must also have completed an accredited nursing program and hold a current BLS certification.
The facility requires all employees to have received the COVID-19 vaccine, with only medical or religious exemptions allowed.
