:Surgery Scheduler

Key Responsibilities:
Utilize Electronic Medical Records (EMR), specifically Advanced MD, to efficiently manage scheduling and patient records.
Guide patients through the surgical scheduling process, providing comprehensive information and addressing queries related to surgery preparation and insurance.
Execute administrative tasks promptly, including coordinating paperwork with facilities, obtaining prior authorizations, and liaising with other healthcare professionals.
Prepare and maintain detailed histories and physical (H&P) documentation for surgical procedures.
Collaborate with other medical offices to schedule assistant surgeons, stents, and related services.
Engage with equipment representatives to ensure the availability of necessary devices for surgeries.
Support the medical staff by performing routine clinical tasks as required.
Communicate effectively with insurance companies to ensure accurate billing procedures in alignment with the scheduling process.
Assist with additional administrative duties as needed.
Qualifications:
Prior experience with medical procedures, with a preference for Orthopedic familiarity.
Knowledge of medical insurance practices.
Strong organizational skills, enabling you to manage complex schedules efficiently.
A team player attitude and the ability to excel in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Exceptional problem-solving skills to navigate various challenges in the scheduling process.
Familiarity with OSHA standards for maintaining a safe medical environment.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, colleagues, and insurance providers.
High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred).

Pay: From $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 38 – 42 per week
