Medical Secretary

Job Summary: Performs a wide variety of duties and responsibilities with emphasis on quality of care and customer service. The Medical Secretary must work collaboratively with the IDT members in support of direct participant care activities. Works under the direct and indirect supervision of the Center Manager or designee.

Experience: Six months clinical experience and one year of experience with the frail and elderly population.

Responsibilities:

• Communicates effectively with participants', families, staff and staff of other agencies.
• Works effectively in a team setting.
• Performs general clerical duties, including answering the phones, photocopies, completing forms and scheduling appointments.
• Set up internal and external appointments, with phone call reminders.
• Schedule assessments.
• Order and maintain all supplies for clinic.

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
