Duties:
- Accompany Doctor during patient encounters in the clinic
- Create templates to accurately document patient encounters
- Document patient medical histories, symptoms, and treatments accurately and efficiently
- Transcribe physician dictations and enter them into electronic medical records (EMRs)
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures, most preferably orthopedics
The ideal candidate should have previous experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in an orthopedic practice.
