Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to work with others and demonstrate respect for others’ ideas.
- Knowledge of molecular biology techniques and a willingness to learn additional techniques as needed for laboratory work.
- Willingness to acquire new methodologies to study cardiovascular disease states, specifically atherosclerosis and aging.
- Must be able to adapt to an ever-changing research environment.
- Strong organizational skills.
Required Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree and one year of related experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in following streams of sciences: cell biology, molecular biology, infectious disease, microbiology, immunology, biological science.
- Previous work as a laboratory or medical technician
- Able to balance multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Enjoys learning
