Full-time position available for a large busy Family Practice Group. Duties for our Medical Records Clerks include excellent customer service skills, completion of FMLA forms, LOA forms, copying/scanning of Medical Records, Release of Information, HIPAA, Subpoena’s, Short Term Disability forms, Mail Distribution and back up Receptionist duties. Must be detailed oriented and have basic computer skills with proficiency in Excel and Word. EMR training is provided. Our Medical Records Clerks have access to an enhanced benefit package.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
· High School Diploma or General Education Degree.
· Requires proficiency in Word and Excel.
· Requires familiarity with medical diagnoses and insurance billing.
· Ability to lift at least 51 lbs. on a regular basis and physically be able to help patients that may require assistance.
· Proficient working knowledge and ability to accurately and timely operate and perform computer related tasks with specific equipment and software applications required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
