Local behavioral health private practice seeking an additional Medical Receptionist/administrative assistant. An ideal candidate is someone who has experience as a receptionist (preferably in the medical field) and is reliable, motivated, competent, and committed to excellent patient care/service. Preference for an individual that is looking for a long-term placement, as we know (and appreciate) that receptionists are an integral part of the team and conducive to the growth of the practice. We are a completely drug, smoke, and vape-free facility.
Job Description:
* Greets patients
* Answers telephones, direct calls, and take messages
* Scheduling and confirming appointments
* Follow up with patient needs
* Maintain patient files and facilitate digital storage of medical records in Electronic Health Record (EHR)
* Communicate with patients and other individuals to answer questions, explain information, and address concerns
* Billing & payment processing
Requirements:
* MUST have excellent verbal and written communication skills
* MUST have a strong attention to detail
* MUST have a professional demeanor
* MUST be proficient with basic computer skills (preference for an individual with Apple iMac/MacBook experience)
* MUST be organized and able to multi-task and keep accurate records
* MUST be a team-player but able to work and think independently
* MUST be self-motivated and have a strong work ethic
* MUST be able to work without constant supervision in a fast-paced environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
