Medical Receptionist

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for day-to-day medical reception and administrative duties, including scheduling appointments, checking patients in and out, collecting copays and processing payments. This position requires a strong ability to multi-task, as well as an ability to manage competing priorities.

Essential Duties:
·Greeting and welcoming patients to the facility
·Answering phones
·Answering questions about insurance benefits and coverage
·Processing payments, including billing, collecting payments from patients, and processing insurance claims
·Ensuring that all paperwork is in the correct location for processing
·Ensuring that all paperwork related to patient care is properly maintained and stored.
·Ensuring that the office area is clean and presentable at all times.
·Performing basic office duties such as answering emails.
·Performing other administrative duties as assigned.

·Ability to work under pressure and react quickly to changing circumstances or events.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
