Position: Medical Office Assistant
- Location: Work-From-Home (Must reside in King County, Washington)
- Type: Part-Time (Option for Full-Time based on Performance)
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 10:00 am to 3:00 pm
- Pay: $20 to $25 per hour (Based on Experience)
Responsibilities:
As a Medical Office Assistant with Childress Nursing Services, you will play a crucial role in supporting our reproductive home healthcare services. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing excellent administrative support to ensure smooth operations.
- Demonstrating proficiency in staff scheduling, with a focus on optimizing efficiency.
- Resolving insurance billing matters and maintaining accurate records.
- Collaborating with electronic medical record system, software programs and G-suite.
- Utilizing social media marketing skills to contribute to the growth of our business.
- Putting your problem-solving skills and attention to detail on display
Requirements:
To thrive in this role, you'll need:
- Active, unencumbered Medical Assistant (MA), CNA, or other medical professional certification/license with at least of 1 year of recent patient care experience.
- Experience in fertility, maternity, and/or home health is preferred.
- English proficiency with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with insurance billing processes or a trainable attitude.
- Familiarity with medical terms and technology.
- Strong computer, data entry, virtual meetings and office management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and electronic medical records.
- Tech-savvy skills to navigate various computer software programs.
- Strong knowledge of road area traffic in the Greater Seattle metropolitan area.
- Dependability, flexibility, and a quick learning ability.
- Access to a smartphone and high-speed internet at home.

- Support nurse manager and administrator, as needed.
