Medical Assitant - Scheduling Assitant for Adoration Health
In this role, you'll be the heart of our patient care coordination, assisting the scheduler and manager in managing patient referral information and communication to our remote teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurate data entry: Efficiently manage and update patient referral information in our electronic health record system, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
- Clear communication: Relay patient referral details to the scheduler and manager, ensuring accurate communication and timely follow-up through various digital platforms.
- Organized support: Assist with scheduling appointments, maintaining calendars, and preparing documents using cutting-edge digital tools to streamline the patient referral process.
- Positive interaction: Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare professionals through professional email and phone communication.
- Tech-savvy:Prioritize digital knowledge: Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) proficiently, and demonstrate an eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies relevant to the healthcare field.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an administrative or healthcare setting.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Scheduler will assist with the assignment of appropriate staff to clients, schedule client services, identify problem situations and assist in
problem solving to strive for optimum outcomes.
- Coordinates In-Home support services between DSPs and persons served
- Participate in staff meetings with Branch Manager and other staff
- Communicate with Management regarding situations needing special attention, any change of client's condition/needs, and any
situation that may require disciplinary action of staff - Ensures DSPs complete all required training
- Assists with providing training as necessary
- Assigns DSPs to schedules and appointments in a timely manner
- Monitors attendance and punctuality of DSPs for service appointments
- Maintains data integrity for all assigned, including templates, valid authorizations, time and attendance
- Assumes on-call responsibility, and in the absence of appropriate staffing, may provide client direct care
- Ensures home care services are in compliance with agency philosophy, policies and procedures, and in accordance with state
and federal licensing laws & regulations - Ensures submission of proper timekeeping and paperwork

- Valid driver's license and insurance
- Two or more years of general office and computer experience
