Managed by United Surgical Partners International & Joint Commission Accredited.North Central Surgical Center is currently seeking a Full-Time Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team.Position Responsibilities:* Performs generalist duties in hematology, chemistry, coagulation, and urinalysis.* Performs equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, correlation studies, linearity checks, and quality control to ensure compliance with CLIA and Joint Commission.#LI-EP1Required Skills:Requirements:* Associate or bachelor's degree in medical technology or equivalent.* MT or MLT registered with ASCP, AMT, or AAB preferred.* A minimum of 1-2 years' generalist experience in a clinical laboratory* Experience with Point-of-Care Testing.* Knowledge of CLIA regulations and Joint Commission standards.* Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to provide exceptional customer service to patients, physicians, and staff.* Ability to develop and maintain Excel spreadsheets for data reporting.* Ability to detect color and color changes.* Excellent phlebotomy skills.Employment practices will not be influenced or affected by an applicant's or employee's race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, veteran status or any other legally protected status.
