Medical Laboratory Scientist/South Ogden Ut

Select Laboratory Partners, LLC (SLP) is seeking a full time Medical Laboratory scientist to join our toxicology-managed lab sector. SLP specializes in lab startup and management of clinical laboratories for pain management, behavioral health, hospitals and primary care practices.
Responsibilities of position include but not limited to:

• Perform pre-analytic checks and maintenance as required
• Identify, troubleshoot, document and resolve problems with LCMS instrument
• Perform quality control testing, analyze urine drug screens and LCMS confirmation for drugs present in urine specimens
• Verify and report results
• Follow safe laboratory practice and standard operating procedure
• Provide customer support
• Provide validation support and personnel training

Position is full time working in a physician office toxicology laboratory Monday thru Friday, day shift. Extensive instrument and LIS training is provided. Option for Medical, Dental and Vision benefits available.
Education and experience requirements - Applicant must hold a Bachelor of Science degree in laboratory science, Biology, Chemistry or related field with one year of clinical laboratory experience. MLT with Associates degree and two years of clinical laboratory science will be considered.
