Medical Front Desk Coordinator

Seeking a dynamic part time Front Desk/practice coordinator for a well-established general dermatologist. This position is part time to start and may turn in to full time for the right candidate.

Responsibilities included but not limited to:

• Check in, Check out. (Collect copays, deductibles, and coinsurance).
• Insurance Verification (Must have vast knowledge of insurance benefits and how they apply to medical visits).
• Appointment Scheduling/Answer phones / Confirm appointments
• Data Entry, Medical Scanning
• Referrals when needed
• General Office Duties
• Assist with some administrative duties
• Payroll
• CAQH & OSHA updates when needed
• Maintain a positive and efficient working environment

Qualifications: To qualify you must:

• Have Front Desk experience 2+ years in a medical office
• Be a team player and work well with others
• Be organized, efficient, and ethical
• Be dependable, punctual, and professional
• Be knowledgeable in medical terminology and computer confident
• Scheduling experience required
• Payroll experience a plus
• Back office medical assisting when needed
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to deal with patients in a professional and empathetic manner
• Experience in a busy medical office and have knowledge with the above responsibilities.
