The Role - What it means to be a Medical Education Presentation Designer at Rupa!
Are you an MD, DO, ND, DACM, NP, PA, RD, PhD or equivalent with a background in writing and creating CE-level educational presentations? We are looking for a contract medical writer who is excited and capable of writing about medically technical concepts, such as specialty lab testing and root cause approaches to healthcare, in super engaging and relevant ways.
A “day in the life” of a Medical Education Presentation Designer:
You'll be responsible for creating 10-20 presentations each month that will be due on a daily basis M-F (this equates to approximately 40 hours a week of work). Presentation requirements are approximately 50 slides. Outlines will be provided. Content guidelines are here.
Does this sound like you?
- At least 1 year experience writing content centered around evidence-based integrative medicine content at CE level.
- One of the Following Medical credentials MD, DO, ND, DACM, NP, PA, RD or a PhD in a medicine-related field. Strong preference for someone with a Functional Medicine Certificate: IFM, CFMP, FMN, IFNCP or equivalent or Integrative Medicine background.
- Familiar with Pubmed, Google Scholar, Science Direct and equivalent evidence based sourcing sites.
- Strong background knowledge in specialty lab testing: Genova, DUTCH, ZRT, Doctors Data, Vibrant America, etc.
- Knowledge of Rupa Health's Lab Portal
- Knowledge of Rupa Health’s Magazine
- Strong ability to create engaging written content around functional medicine & lab testing that is easy to understand for healthcare practitioners and readers alike.
- Able to commit to 10-20 presentations each month that will be due on a recurring scheduled due date.
- An excellent communicator and can handle a 24-hour turnaround time with edit requests.
