Duties:
- Service and install SPD equipment (washers, sterilizers, autoclaves, etc.)
- Assist with the installation and setup of surgical lights, equipment booms, etc.
- Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance on equipment.
- Provide support to various hospitals within New England.
- Establish and maintain positive and cooperative working relationships.
- Participate in training seminars, meetings, and on-the-job training programs.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
- Demonstrate a sense of urgency to independently identify and assist in resolution of customer issues.
- Calibrate and test equipment to ensure accuracy and functionality.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Skills:
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to meet all required background and physical assessment elements to obtain and maintain existing and new vendor credentialing requirements.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective time management skills.
- Basic computer skills (MS windows/email, navigation, mobile app, and ability to enter data input into various portals).
- Experience with Field Service work, including on-site repairs and maintenance.
- Must be able to meet flexible schedules with potential overnights, as well as early/late hours, based on customer needs.
- Proficiency in using hand tools for equipment repair and maintenance.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Inspect and test malfunctioning medical and related equipment following manufacturers' specifications.
- Ability to disassemble malfunctioning parts and repair, repair and replace defective parts related to mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and electronic functions.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
