Medical Device Sales Account Manager
San Francisco Bay Area
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Medical Sales Account Manager with a strong background in an operating room environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including surgeons, nurses, and hospital administrators, to drive sales and promote our Medical Device products and solutions tailored for the operating room.
Responsibilities:
Account Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in hospitals and surgical centers.
- Understand the specific needs and challenges of the operating room and provide tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and meet sales targets.
Product Knowledge:
- Possess in-depth knowledge of the company's products, particularly those designed for the operating room.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and advancements in surgical technology.
- Train and educate healthcare professionals on the proper use and benefits of our products.
Sales Strategy:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase market share and achieve revenue goals.
- Identify new business opportunities and potential clients within the operating room space.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the advantages of our solutions.
Customer Support:
- Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams to address inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Provide post-sales support, including training and assistance during product implementation.
Market Analysis:- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities in the operating room segment.
- Analyze competitor activities and market conditions to refine sales strategies.
Reporting and Forecasting:
- Prepare regular reports on sales activities, market trends, and customer feedback.
- Collaborate with the sales management team to provide accurate sales forecasts and contribute to overall business planning.
Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of sales activities, customer interactions, and market research.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, life sciences, or a related field.
- Proven experience in Medical Device Sales, with a focus on the operating room environment.
- Strong understanding of surgical procedures, equipment, and healthcare protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Results-driven with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
