Kindred Enterprise Inc. is a small business in Flint, MI. We are professional, agile and our goal is to bring a hard-working loving energy. We have a full State Operation with Cannabis Growing and are looking for workers with or without previous knowledge.

Plants do not sleep, so hours may require time outside of a 9-5 timeframe. Nonethless, No Night Shifts.
Must Be 21+ to Work in a Cultivation Warehouse
Plant Knowledge:A fundamental understanding of various types of plants, including their growth habits, care requirements, and common diseases or pests.
Plant Identification:Proficiency in identifying different plant species and varieties.
Plant Care Skills:Knowledge of proper planting techniques, watering schedules, pruning, and fertilization methods.
Soil and Nutrition Knowledge:Understanding of soil types and how to amend them for optimal plant growth.
Knowledge of appropriate fertilizers and nutrients for different plants.
Pest and Disease Management:Familiarity with common plant pests and diseases, as well as strategies for prevention and treatment.
Climate Considerations:Awareness of how local climate conditions can impact plant health and what measures to take to protect plants from adverse weather.
Physical Stamina:Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy pots or bags of soil, and spending extended periods on one's feet.
Attention to Detail:Meticulousness in monitoring plants for signs of distress, and the ability to make adjustments accordingly.
Communication Skills:Effective communication with colleagues and customers to provide plant care advice and recommendations.
Customer Service Skills:A friendly and helpful demeanor when assisting customers with plant selection and care questions.
Organizational Skills:The ability to keep the nursery organized, including arranging plants for display and maintaining an inventory of plant stock.
Time Management:Efficiently managing tasks, especially during busy seasons, to ensure all plants receive proper care and attention.
Safety Awareness:Understanding and adherence to safety protocols when using tools and equipment, handling chemicals, or working with plants.
Plant Propagation Knowledge:Familiarity with techniques for propagating plants, such as seed starting, cutting propagation, and grafting.
Certifications:Depending on the nursery's requirements, relevant certifications in horticulture, landscape design, or related fields may be beneficial.
Previous Experience:While not always required, prior experience in a nursery, garden center, or similar role can be a valuable asset.
Passion for Plants:A genuine love for plants and gardening, as enthusiasm often translates into better care and customer interaction.
Flexibility:Adaptability to work weekends, holidays, or irregular hours, especially during peak gardening seasons.
