Description
- Delivers medical devices to hospitals and surgery centers as directed by the Operations Manager, Dispatcher and/or any other designated company representative.
- Picking up packages from the sender.
- Delivering packages to the recipient.
- Taking responsibility for high-value or confidential items.
- Accepting payments for the items.
- Filling out paperwork about completed deliveries.
- Getting signatures from recipients upon delivery.
- Working with dispatch to get to the right locations.
- Understand local road laws
- Be able to read maps.
- Take care of your vehicle.
- Have knowledge of other vehicles, especially other delivery and emergency vehicles.
- Take care of your cargo and your vehicle.

- 1–2-year professional driving experience.
- Excellent knowledge of local and regional roadways.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate a high level of responsibility.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience in pharmaceutical transportation is a plus.
- Moderate to heavy physical activity. Repetitive daily lifting of at least 50 pounds.
- Standing, lifting, sitting and moving for extended amounts of time.
