1) Front Office Receptionist and Collections specialist with medical billing processing duties: The candidate must have 4 years or more experience with all aspects of medical billing as well as experience with effective financial collections for 3 or more years and have a non-abrasive, but effective approach to financial collections.

a) The candidate will need to be able to collect, but also possess positive social skills ( smile while you are collecting the revenue) which will motivate others to pay for their financial transactions at the physicians office.

b) The candidate must have extensive experience with medical billing procedures including pre-screening patients for insurance benefits, be familiar with how to determine the benefits of a patient and correctly find what the patient may owe for a visit based on that information, processing a claim, working rejections, know how to post EOB's and correspond with insurance companies and rebill claims.

c) The candidate must be skilled with positive customer service duties ( service with a smile) including proper scheduling of patients in a medical practice management system effectively to maximize practice revenue generation and be able to multi-task between the telephone and front desk in an effective and organized fashion.

d) The candidate must be ethical and trustworthy when handling business revenues and must be able to promote cash medical office services not covered by insurance and be able to promote insurance covered services that require patients to pay cash until the deductibles are met.

e) The appearance of the candidate must be professional and dressed appropriately for a medical office at all times.

f) The patient must have MEDICAL ASSISTANT EXPERIENCE as the individual will be called upon to perform normal medical assistant duties which may require some medical retail promotion and sales of medical devices including, shoes, inserts, braces or other medical grade retail items when needed but the front desk will be their primary duty

g) The individual must be punctual, a self starter, experienced, mature, pro-active and willing to put forth extra effort to make more than a minimum wage. The individual MUST BE willling and able to work with fellow employees easily without a history of interpersonal conflict. Must love to work with people.
