Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage work flows and time to maximize recoveries and ensure client and patient satisfaction.
- Work with patient/guarantor, insurance companies and/or other third parties to negotiate, arrange and monitor payment plans.
- Contact consumers and utilize effective negotiating skills to collect unpaid debt
- Follow up with consumers to ensure payments are made within timely matter
- Use database to monitor and update accounts
- Keep accurate records and reporting on collection activity
- Prepare and process patient payments using the client systems as available.
- Meet or exceed established goals
- Obtain documentation with all Federal, State and local regulations and laws; including the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act and others as appropriate.
- Perform other duties as required or directed.

Qualifications and Skills
- Education: High school diploma
- Experience: Two years of over-the-phone customer service experience
- Skills: Word, Excel, interpersonal skills, telephone skills, organizational skills. Communicate well on a one-on-one basis or in groups for the purpose of obtaining or providing information. Possess an analytical and logical mind, able to recognize and evaluate relevant facts and legal concepts.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
