Medical Cash Poster
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Pay rate: $18.50 - $19 per hour
Monday through Friday schedule with a shift of 8am to 4:30pm (potential for flexibility)
Responsibilities:
- Follow required procedures for posting cash
- Logging and scanning checks with refunds being processed quickly
- Ability to post and process all cash within a 48 timeframe of receiving batch
- Compiling, sorting, and invoicing checks and daily reconciliations
- Processing write-offs and maintaining logs and reports properly
- Efficiently post both unapplied cash and cash transfers
- Ensure proper filing procedures by scanning cash batches
- Refunds processed efficiently and timely
- Communicating with internal teams when appropriate
- Prior experience Cash Posting, Payment Posting in healthcare industry
- High regard for attention to detail, organized and ability to prioritize
- Ability to multi-task and work at a fast but steady pace
- Ability to effectively communicate over phone and email
