We are seeking a front desk reception that can perform medical billing. As a Medical Biller, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely billing for therapy services. Your attention to detail and knowledge of medical billing procedures will contribute to the financial success of our practice.
Responsibilities:
-Answer telephones
-Assist with patient appointment set up
-Obtain authorization for therapy
-Verify Insurance benefits
-Process patient co-payments
-Enter Patient information into medical record
-Print and mail or send claims electronically
-Enter insurance payments into system
-Follow up on unpaid or rejected claims.
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a medical office is a plus.
- Familiarity with medical billing software such as Kareo or similar systems is a plus, can train.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
