AUI is currently seeking a motivated individual to grow with us in our Clearwater office.

Medical Billing Collector
The Medical Billing Specialist is responsible for resolving unpaid claims, writing appeals and processing adjustment requests. The candidate must be comfortable using a variety of communication methods, such as phone, e-mail, and regular mail to reach interested parties. They must explain bill items, adjust them after approval, and work well with other medical professionals in a team setting to reach objectives in a timely manner.
Duties:

• Verify accuracy of billing data and revise any errors.
• Contact insurance carriers to resolve billing issues.
• Review medical records.
• Contact patients in order to obtain or relay account information.
• Write appeal letters.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma required
• Carecloud and/or EClinicalWorks experience (preferred not required)
