Medical Biller/Collector

Rebirth Health Center, or Rebirth Obgyn is a solo physician gynecology and primary care practice in Holladay, with a focus on transgender and gender expansive health. We are looking for a contracted part-time medical biller; to work both in-office and remote from home around Salt Lake City, UT.

You need to have experience with credentialing and billing for a family medicine and/or gynecology clinic (in office only), be familiar with medical coding and modifiers, and be familiar with Athenahealth EMR for at least 2 years.

Please do not apply if you do not have experience with Athenahealth EMR neither have experience in billing/collecting.

You also need to be open-minded, kind, and inclusive towards BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and neurodiverse patients. You need to be willing to call insurance companies regarding claims, do credentialing of physician contracts with insurance companies and hospitals, help us set up insurance provider portals, and contact patients regarding collecting AR from previous years.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
