**Job Summary:**
Devdent is seeking a dynamic and experienced Medical Claims Ager for medical claims from dental offices. The Medical Claims Ager be responsible for claims processing, ensuring accurate and efficient claims submissions, resolving complex billing issues, and optimizing the revenue cycle for our healthcare provider clients.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Manage and maintain a comprehensive understanding of medical coding (CPT, ICD-10) and insurance policies
- Ensure that claims are accurately and promptly submitted to insurance companies
- Investigate and resolve complex billing discrepancies, claim rejections, and denials
- Monitor the status of medical claims
- Collaborate with healthcare provider clients to improve revenue cycle management
- Implement and uphold industry best practices for medical claim processing
- Stay current with changes in medical coding, insurance policies, and regulations
**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience in medical claims follow up
- In-depth knowledge of medical coding, billing, and insurance claim submission
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Proficiency in medical billing software and practice management systems
- Understanding of HIPAA and patient confidentiality regulations
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Certification in medical billing and coding
