Responsibilities:
Assign appropriate medical codes to diagnoses and procedures for patient records.
Ensure all coding accurately reflects the services provided and adheres to legal and insurance requirements.
Review and analyze patient medical records to ensure completeness and accuracy for billing purposes.
Prepare and submit insurance claims electronically or by paper submission.
Follow up with insurance companies on unpaid or rejected claims.
Resolve billing discrepancies and appeals as necessary.
Communicate with healthcare providers and patients regarding billing and coding questions or issues.
Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all legal requirements regarding healthcare information.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Medical Biller and Coder or similar role.
Certification (e.g., CPC, CCS) from a recognized coding organization preferred.

Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
Familiarity with insurance procedures and guidelines, including Medicare and Medicaid.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
