Medical Assistant/Patient Service Representative Position Summary
As a member of the care team, the Medical Assistant/Patient Service Representative Hybrid takes care of clinical care and front desk administrative service to patients in a medical office setting. Duties include but are not limited to clinical, administrative and clerical tasks such as rooming patients, taking vitals, intake of medical history and medications, registration duties, scheduling appointments, insurance verification and customer service.
As a Medical Assistant/Patient Service Representative assigned to our GME team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Residents and Fellows while they build expertise in specialized areas. Working with Residents and Fellows will give you the opportunity to shape our future clinicians. This presents an unusual opportunity to join us at the foundational stage of establishing this practice.
Our clinical teams ensure the smooth operation of our medical practices. This Medical Assistant will be assigned to Family Medicine and the OB/GYN located in Seaford, Delaware.

Medical Assistant/Patient Service Representative Position Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent required.
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Medical Assistant certification from an approved Medical Assistant program preferred.
- At least one year of administrative/customer service experience required.
- Previous experience in a health care environment strongly preferred.
- Experience with an electronic health record preferred.
- CPR Skills required.
Medical Assistant/Patient Service Representative Work Schedule
- Monday through Friday, Day Shift
