This position is a valuable opportunity for students who are taking gap years and/or interested in a long term position in an aesthetics private practice. You will learn about oculofacial plastic surgery and how to run a private practice. This position is available starting April 2024 (start date flexible) with a combination of in-office and virtual onboarding. This can start as a part-time position and move into a full-time position. We can be flexible with school schedules.
Position Description:
This is a small private practice with a tight-knit team. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator and a great team player who is detail oriented and well versed in G Suite. The position entails organization and detailed patient communication, so it is important that you are meticulous in your organization, as well as confident and comfortable with communicating with people in different types of settings. We are looking for a quick thinker & problem solver. Above all, we are looking for a person with a positive personality, who is willing to learn, adapt, work hard, and be a team player.
Roles and responsibilities:
Patient-correspondence responsibilities:
- Check in patients, photography, and prepare patient for in office procedures
- Set up tray with instruments for in office surgery and minor procedures
- Assist the physician during both cosmetic and medical surgeries/procedures
Administrative responsibilities:
- Set up and close office
- Create and electronically file patient charts
- Patient scheduling
- Managing and ordering inventory
Social media responsibilities:
- Content creation for Instagram and marketing materials
- Preferred: proficiency in CANVA, YouCut or other content creation software
Working from home responsibilities:
- Patient communication via Klara, Email and Phone
- Appointment Confirmations
- Content creation or projects
Hour details:
- Ranging from 25-40 hours/week
- Virtual work from home on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays
- In-office procedures on Tuesdays and Thursdays
- We are considering 1-2 applicants for this position
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.67 - $24.90 per hour
