Medical Assistant
Must be able to multitask and be on time. Looking to train someone in the back as well as the front.
Calling in rx ,prior AUTH's of rx ,working with pts doing vital signs and drawing lab work, answering the phones, giving appts ,working with the drs. stocking rooms , scanning lab work, calling pts with results, writing out lab requisitions, setting up office procedures ,answering the phones, making appts ,scanning diagnostic imaging ,among other front desk duties.
Medical Receptionist
Calling to confirm appts, making appts, checking in pts, checking out pts, entering billing, prior authorizations of scans and surgeries, calling pts with surgical instructions, calling pts to give test results and to make follow up appts. We are willing to train the right candidate .
Hours are
Monday 9 to 5/6
Tuesday 9- 5
Wednesday 9-430/5
Thursday 9-5
Friday 9 to 430 then every other Friday 9 to 3
Please remember this is a drs office and sometimes we can not predict to get out on exactly time .
We would need you to stay when the other MA is off or on vacation for coverage.
Salary: $17.00- $19
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 38 – 40 per week
