We Fairview Health Services are looking for Medical Assistant to join the Fairview Eagan Urgent Care! This position is approved for 32 hours every two weeks and we are offering a $4000 sign on bonus.
Schedule:Urgent care hours are Monday through Friday (10am-8pm) and Saturday/Sunday (9am-8pm). The exact schedule to be worked out with hired employee on a 2-week repeating schedule as there is flexibility on which days to work week. The individual will work two 8-hour shifts on week one (between Mon/Tues/Wed/Thurs/Fri 10a-8p) and week two(between Mon/Thurs/Fri 10a-8p).
The Eagan Clinic is one of the largest clinics in the Fairview system. We are a New Clinic (structurally) with an improved layout and design. This is a stand alone clinic in a growing business area with phenomenal shopping, food/restaurant, and walking opportunities. We also offer free parking and can easily get to major roads and highways. Many at our location choose to make Eagan home and build community ties, while others appreciate the ease of a commute to our site.
As a member of the patients care team, a Medical Assistant supports quality patient- and family-centered care principles through performing a variety of high standard functions within a care team to support the needs of the healthcare team and patients/families. The Medical Assistant will collect information and detail the patient's visit. The MA is responsible for adhering to all policies, procedures and practice guidelines, promoting communication with all members of the team, maintaining complete, timely and accurate clinical documentation for each patient and continually looking for opportunities to improve processes and workflow.

Medical Assistants and Fairview deliver care as delegated by the patients Physicians, or RN. They are able to prioritize work based on need, available resources, patient preferences, provider schedule, and work in collaboration with the physician/authorized practitioner as well as other health care team members. You may also perform high, and low risk, technical procedures during your daily work which could include: medication administration, assistance with CPR, assistance with procedures which may include lab draws.

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program or LPN
- Basic Life Support Certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Ambulatory Care Experience
- AAMA Certification
