SalaryMedical practice is looking for a qualified Receptionist with Medical Assistant certificate to work full time Monday-Friday in Palm Desert, CA. Competitive Compensation and Benefits available!
Primary Responsibilities:
· Greet patients and assist with scheduling
· Check in patients the day of their appointment
· Answer calls
· Must be familiar with using an EMR system
· Take calls during a busy day of clinic
· Faxing documents
· Certify patient insurance (Authorizations & Eligibility)
· Maintaining a positive attitude and be a positive energy for the patients
· Assisting with back office, room patients, take vitals
Qualifications:
· Bilingual- Preferred, not required
· High School Diploma or GED required
· Medical Assistant Certificate
· Excellent telephone and communication skills
· Ability to work quickly and under pressure
· Dedication and positive attitude
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
