Santa Monica Sleep Disorders Center is a private medical practice specializing in sleep disorders.
Main Job Duties and Responsibilities for this position includes:
- Register patients according to established protocols
- Greet and assist patients to complete all necessary forms and documentation including medical insurance
- Perform patient workup for provider, including BP and HR testing, PHI review. Familiarity with spirometry, blood draws, and respiratory care a plus.
- Answer incoming calls and deal with inquiries
- Schedule patient appointments
- Collect co-pays and payments
- Prior auth for medications
- EMR - Athena not mandatory, but a plus
Key Details:
To comply with federal, state, and local mandates, we ask that all our staff members be fully vaccinated for Covid 19 which includes a single booster in addition to original vaccination. Please do not apply if you cannot comply with this.
This position is Monday through Friday 8am-5pm. You must be able to accommodate these hours + your travel time without conflicts.
Experience in an administrative medical role is ideal, as this is a specialty practice.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
