Medical Assistant/Front Desk Receptionist

We are a busy weight loss clinic and growing fast. For this front office position, attitude is paramount and Spanish is helpful. Previous experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications:

• Medical Assistant certificate from an accredited school (or equivalent)

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Required Skills:

• Kind, genuine, calm and non-judgmental attitude

• An ability to perform injections and check blood pressure readings

• Basic computer skills - ability to communicate clearly in Spanish and English via email or text

• An ability to communicate effectively in a professional manner

• An ability to be productive and calm in a busy work space

• An understanding of HIPAA regulations and professional ethics

• Reliable transportation

• A value for punctuality

• Fluent Spanish preferred but not required

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Greeting patients upon arrival

• Answering incoming calls and returning messages

• Checking out patients, collecting payments

• Booking future appointments

• Calling patients for appointment reminders and other clinic related activities

• Administering injections and blood pressure checks

• Updating and organizing medical records

• Basic office cleaning

• Other miscellaneous duties

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
