Medical Assistant/Cna/Scribe

Job description

In this position, you will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner. This is travel position, limited to the Central Florida area.

Responsibilities

· Document basic medical history accurately

· Organize and schedule appointments as needed

· Arrange hospital admissions, home health, laboratory, diagnostic testing services

· Assist during medical examinations

· Complete and process necessary patient paperwork in a timely manner

Skills

· Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures

· Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and priorities work

· Social perceptiveness and service oriented

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Strong organizational and planning skills

· Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software

· EMR Experience

· ALF/SNF experience a plus

Qualifications

· CMA or RMA licensing preferred

· Candidate must have a reliable method of transportation

· Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
