Job Description
Potential for travel within Central Texas if able: Austin, Katy, Mansfield
- Welcomes patients by greeting them in person.
- Prepares patients for the health care visit by directing and/or accompanying them to the examining room; helping them to position themselves for the examination and/or treatment; arranging examining room instruments, supplies, and equipment.
- Verifies patient information by interviewing patient; reviewing and/or recording medical history; taking vital signs; confirming purpose of visit or treatment.
- Performs patient exams for multiple testing to include:
- spirometry (PFT) (training provided)
- fundus photos (training provided)
- ANS/Sudo testing (equipment driven, training provided)
- Neural testing (training provided)
- Performs basic vitals and height weight.
- Ensures appropriate and accurate documentation in the patient medical record.
- Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.
- Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following, and enforcing standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
- Excellent time management skills necessary.
- Great communication skills helpful.
- Keeps patient care information confidential.
Salary: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
Experience:
- Healthcare worker (in some capacity): 1 year (Required)
- Medical Assistant: 6 months (Preferred)
