Spanish and English speaking Medical Assistant for Extended Hours Primary Care/Urgent Care Center
**MUST BE CERTIFIED**

We are a growing, primary care/urgent care office located in Fall Church, VA seeking a Medical Assitant to join our team. The ideal candidate must be fluent in English and Spanish, punctual, detail-oriented, have excellent clinical and communication skills, and be able to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast paced and professional environment.
We offer a competitive hourly wage and PTO for full-time employees.
*Familiarity with eCW (eClinicalWorks) EMR/EHR is preferred but not required.
Job Type: Full-time or Part Time
This position is available for an experienced Medical Assistant and requires the Medical Assistant to be able to work the front and back office as needed.
Our office hours are 8am-5pm M-F and 8am-3pm Saturday. Medical Assistant needs to be available to work an approx 8 hr shift within any of these days, depending on if full time or part time hire.
Job requirements include, but not limited to:
-Medical knowledge with at least 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or physician office setting (apart from internship).
-Computer skills and experience with EMR
-Certified Medical Assistant
-Well organized and detail oriented
-Highly motivated
-Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
-Triage patients (obtain vital signs)
-Perform finger stick glucose monitoring, administer injections, draw blood, perform diagnostic tests like Covid and PCR
-Prepare, file and electronically update medical records
-Maintain cleanliness of the treatment area, assist in ordering clinical supplies
-Assist in scheduling appointments, answer telephones, prepare-receive faxes (on at-need basis for emergency coverage only)
-Recognize and initiate appropriate measures in emergency situations
Compensation based on experience
Only individuals meeting minimum requirements and providing necessary materials will be considered. Individual must also be willing to start as soon as possible.
