Full-Time Back Office Medical Assistant with EKG Experience | Cardiology Practice | Arcadia, CA

About Our Medical Assistant Role:

ProHealth Staffing is seeking a Medical Assistant who enjoys working in an exciting, fast-paced environment for our partner cardiology practice located in Arcadia.This Medical Assistant role is perfect for those experienced in handling high-volume patient environments. This is for a Maternity Leave Coverage, however, there is an opportunity to be hired on permanently based on performance and office needs at the time.

What We Offer our Medical Assistant Role:

• Starting Rate: $20/hr. (Based on Experience)

• Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm
• Job-Type: Maternity Leave Coverage, however, there is an opportunity to be hired on permanently based on performance and office needs at the time.

Responsibilities for our Medical Assistant Role:

• Greet patients and escort them to examination rooms.
• Prepare patients for examination, take vital signs, and update medical history.
• Assist physicians with procedures.
• Maintain patient records and update Electronic Medical Records (EMRs).
• Clean examination rooms and prepare for next patient visit.
• Replenish exam room supplies as needed.

Qualifications for our Medical Assistant Role:

• Completed formal Medical Assistant education with diploma/certificate.
• Experience with EKGs
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMRs).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume patient environment.
• Must be fully-vaccinated, and up-to-date with COVID vaccinations
