Medical Assistant Specialist Position Overview:

Medical Assistant Schedule:

Medical assistants work

• Monday to Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm (no weekends or evenings)
• Onsite at our beautiful outpatient office in Suffern, NY
• In a collbaorative environment with leadership, nurses and physicians

Job Duties:

Medical Assistants on our team are primarily focused on the following areas of adminitrative needs but not limited to:

• Patient intakes and medical histories

• Sterilization and room prep for physicians

• Conducting vitals and fingersticks (no phlebotomy)

• Front Desk duties: scheduling, check in, check out

• Phone calls, emails and patient follow up

• Insurance verification and prior authorizations




Qualifications:



• 2-3+ years Medical Assistant experience with front desk experience
• Medical assistant certification preferred but not required
• Experience working with pediatrics or strong willingness to learn
• Covid 19 vaccination proof
• High school diploma/equivalent
