Job Description
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist the Physician in exam rooms
- Verify patient information recording medical history and confirm purpose of visit
- Explain medical procedures to patients
- Collect blood, tissue or other laboratory specimens, log the specimens, and prepare them for testing
- Authorize drug refills and provide prescription information to pharmacies
- Maintain patient medical records and update patient files as needed
- Triage and process messages from patients and front office staff to physician and physicians assistants
- Keep exam rooms stocked with adequate medical supplies, maintain instruments, prepare sterilization as required
- All other duties as assigned by the Physician
- BILINGUAL SPANISH SPEAKING A MUST!!
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
