Medical Assistant

```Duties```
- Assist healthcare professionals in providing patient care and treatment
- Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Proficient with electronic medical records.
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
- Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens
- Assist with medical procedures, including wound care and minor outpatient procedures
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Manage patient flow
- Provide medical administrative support, such as client follow ups and managing paperwork
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 36 per week

Experience:

• EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred)
• Vital signs: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• BLS Certification (Preferred)
• Certified Medical Assistant (Required)
