About the Job

Thriveworks is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to work closely with the telepsychiatry team and act as a liaison between clients and clinicians.

Key Responsibilities

• Input client information into an EHR

• Coordinate medical records requests for clinicians

• Process inbound/outbound lab work

• Process refill requests for patients

• Process prior authorizations

• Triage medical questions/requests

• Assist in managing high-volume email accounts to answer questions from patients and clinicians

• Provide any additional administrative support to medical staff, the Regional Clinic Director, and the Executive Director

Skills / Qualifications

• Active certification as a CMA or RMA

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills with a diverse population of clientele

• Excellent time management skills

• Working knowledge and experience using business software (word processing, spreadsheets, Google Workspace, etc.)

Requirements

• Prior experience working with EHR systems, preferably AMD

• Experience in maintaining HIPAA-compliant practices and procedures

• Familiarity with an outpatient office setting

• Ability to work a rotating schedule: Tuesday - Saturday either 7 am - 4 pm or 8 am - 5 pm.
