Job Summary:
Ensures that quality care is rendered to all patients in accordance with Washington State Department of Health, TriState Health and departmental standards in a busy, fast paced medical office with 6 providers. All training is learned on the job, with strong preceptors. Assists provider with all back-office duties, including rooming patients, taking patient interviews, vital signs and histories. May assist with examinations, procedures, orders, and reports for patients. Supports patient care in a highly efficient office setting typically seeing a collective 700-800 clinic visits per month.
Licensures/ Certifications:
- Washington State Medical Assistant Registration acquired upon hire
- BLS preferred, able to obtain upon hire
- Promotes positive teamwork with departmental staff, surgeons, physicians, anesthesia, and all departmental personnel.
- Participates in maintaining a safe patient care environment. Effective leadership skills and preceptor participation
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent phone etiquette, strong interpersonal skills
- Computer skills, including electronic medical records systems.
Experience:
- Previous Healthcare Experience is recommended, but not a requirement.
- Customer Service experience preferred
