Medical Assistant Registered- Trainee

We are currently seeking a Registered Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. While experience is preferred, we are willing to train the right person who is dedicated, hardworking, and eager to learn.

 As a Registered Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting healthcare providers in various clinical tasks, such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and performing administrative duties. Job Summary:  

Ensures that quality care is rendered to all patients in accordance with Washington State Department of Health, TriState Health and departmental standards in a busy, fast paced medical office with 6 providers. All training is learned on the job, with strong preceptors.  Assists provider with all back-office duties, including rooming patients, taking patient interviews, vital signs and histories.  May assist with examinations, procedures, orders, and reports for patients.  Supports patient care in a highly efficient office setting typically seeing a collective 700-800 clinic visits per month.   

Licensures/ Certifications: 

• Washington State Medical Assistant Registration acquired upon hire
• BLS preferred, able to obtain upon hire
• Promotes positive teamwork with departmental staff, surgeons, physicians, anesthesia, and all departmental personnel.
• Participates in maintaining a safe patient care environment. Effective leadership skills and preceptor participation
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent phone etiquette, strong interpersonal skills
• Computer skills, including electronic medical records systems.

Experience: 

• Previous Healthcare Experience is recommended, but not a requirement.  
• Customer Service experience preferred
