SalaryMy client is a growing private practice in the highly desirable Triangle and Triad area.

Patient care and satisfaction are at the forefront of their concerns. My client is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant with experience in spine or pain management preferred. Must be outgoing, friendly, highly professional, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.
EMR experience is a must – please list which EMRs you have used and are familiar with.
Primary Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
– Patient Intake – taking height, weight, vitals, medical history
– Occasional travel with Provider to other locations
- ***MUST*** Procedure Room Assisting – managing fluoroscopy machine, documenting procedure notes, prepping the room for physician, sterile technique
– Diagnostic Imaging – authorizing, scheduling, and obtaining results via websites
– Telephone Triage
– Out-going referrals
– EMR data entry
– Patient Education
– Urine Drug Screening
– Oral swab screening
– Pulling NC Controlled Substance Databases
– Documentation of Lab Results
– Fitting DME such as back braces and TENS units
– Patient Education of DME
– Scheduling
Occasional cross-training includes:
– Front Desk – check-in, check-out, collecting & posting payments
- Handling new patient referrals
PAY RANGE STARTING $17-$23/hr DOE
