Medical Assistant-Pt-Provo Urgent Care

Position Summary: This is a great opportunity to work as a Medical Assistant with the Provo Urgent Care. Successful candidate must maintain a professional image in the office and in all communications. Must be able to multi-task while maintaining good patient and staff relations.

Prepares exam and treatment rooms with necessary equipment and supplies. Assists with the scheduling of tests and treatments. Maintains patient records and other information.

Qualifications: Qualifications: High School Diploma Successful completion of and certification from a Medical Assistant training program, or CNA program from an accredited school. Current CPR certification or must obtain certification within 3 months of hire and must maintain CPR certification throughout employment. Working knowledge of Medical Terminology. Demonstrates excellent computer, telephone and communication skills. Outstanding customer service a must. Organization and attention to detail. Must be a self-starter, a team player, dependable, friendly, kind and approachable attitude, professional and be able to multi-task and work efficiently while remaining calm and productive.

Hours: 20-24 hours. Clinic hours are 7 days a week from 8am-8pm. This is a part-time position. Must be available nights and weekends.
