SalaryDenville Pediatrics is looking for a Full-Time Medical Assistant. The MA promotes and restores patient's health by completing the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families, and supervising assigned teams.
Applicants must be available for one evening a week and one Saturday a month.
The job responsibilities are (but not limited to):
- Obtain vital signs
- Perform medical treatments as requested by the medical provider
- Vaccine administration
- Enter patient information into the electronic health record
- Triage patient calls and give medical advice
- Care for ill, injured, or convalescing patients
- Supervise nursing assistants and aids
- Provides basic patient care and treatment
- Collaborate with other nurses to administer prescribed medications
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
