Medical Assistant Job Summary:
We are looking for an enthusiastic Medical Assistant to join the Centers of Advanced ENT Care, Division 9 our Feldman ENT team. We have a supportive and friendly work atmosphere that provides opportunities to grow into new roles and responsibilities. Employees will work closely with our team of physicians and will acquire extensive clinical experience through direct patient interaction and care.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Perform clinical tasks to support medical staff
- Enter information into Electronic Health Record
- Order prescriptions through EHR
- Communicate with insurance companies for pre-authorization
- Escort patients to exam rooms
- Administrative duties such as answering phones and taking messages
- Monitors and takes patient vitals
- Several office locations are available
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Previous experience in a medical office is preferred but not required
- Experience with entering information into Electronic Health Records is preferred but not required
- Experience with obtaining pre-authorizations for procedures is preferred but not required
- Experience with scheduling procedures is preferred but not required
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual Preferred (Spanish)
Education and Experience:
- HS Diploma
- MA Certified or Bachelor's Degree preferred

Pay rage: $20-22 per hour
