This newly created Full-time position for an Administrative Clinical TMS Treater position now available in our Wyomissing office. The Administrative Clinical TMS Treater is responsible for working as a team with the psychiatrist and board certified nurse practitioner to provide and ensure best practices for patient intake for TMS treatment. This position is highly involved with our patient intake team, and provides patient advocacy during the insurance portion of the intake process. The Administrative Clinical TMS Treater will be vital to help patients start treatment through submitting prior authorizations, completing some benefits investigations, scheduling patients. We are seeking someone who has multiple years of experience with patient intake in mental health or related fields.
The Administrative Clinical TMS Treater primary role is to supervise the patient flow process for each patient within the designated centers from booked consult to TMS patient; and provide guidance to center staff on insurance-related items, as well as corrective oversight when identified.
We are seeking an individual who will be trained to administer in-office therapeutic treatments under the direction of our treating physician or board certified nurse practitioner. This individual’s primary responsibility will be to administer and manage the specific clinical services, interact regularly with patients and complete additional office administrative tasks when time provides.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Health Care Clinical Professional experience required.
- Two or more years of related experience in a customer or patient-facing role preferably in Psychiatry or Mental Health.
- Current CPR certification
Experience:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with exposure to some data management software experience
- Experience addressing any patient’s medical conditions or symptoms, including basic life support certification
- Experience with operating a medical/mechanical device
- Minimum 5 years in Healthcare preferably in Psychiatry or Mental Health.

- Administering TMS treatments according to protocols provided by prescribing provider.
- Monitor all aspects of the treatment sessions for patient comfort and treatment accuracy.
- Explaining TMS procedures and its possible effects on patients, as well as answering questions.
- Creating a supportive treatment environment and demonstrating compassion.
- Assisting patients to complete psychiatric rating scales after sessions.
- Recording session notes and collaborating with certified TMS psychiatrists on patient care.
- Collaborate with a team of trained TMS technicians to deliver high-quality patient care for each patient.
- Learning the EMR (electronic medical record)
- Successful completion of TMS Certification (training and certification provided during initial period of employment)
