Medical Assistant Podiatry Office Bilingual English/Chinese Part/Full Time

Opening for a part time or full time employee position Monday-Friday 8-5PM. Looking for an enthusiastic and eager to learn part time employee. Some medical office experience is a plus.

Fluent Mandarin is a requirement. Cantonese is a plus.

This position is for front and back office receptionist/assistant who will directly deal with our patients, as well as daily office duties listed below. Must be willing to travel to both locations in Hacienda Heights and Ontario.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Medical assistance certification not required but is a plus
- Pleasant, professional

- Proficient EMR or similar computer skills
- Perform tasks with accuracy, with attention to detail and within specified periods
- Able to communicate clearly and effectively with patients, colleagues, and other medical professionals

Responsibilities
- Answering phones/messages in a thorough and timely manner
- Scheduling appointments, rooming patients
- Insurance verification, patient charting, obtaining authorization, processing patient referrals
- Chart keeping and filing paperwork, medical records
- Keeping the work flow in the office
- Stocking/cleaning patient rooms and patient lobby
- Participates in ongoing training
- Manage inventory of medical supplies
- Clean and autoclave instruments
