Medical Assistant - Podiatry

Working Hours:

• Tuesday through Thursday
• 7:30 am to 5:15 pm (hours may vary based on workload)

Responsibilities:

• Assist Podiatrists in patient treatment.
• Set up exam rooms, escort patients, and ensure comfort.
• Take x-rays and perform clinical procedures as directed.
• Document patient information accurately and provide instructions.
• Manage exam room cleanliness, equipment, and sterilization.
• Maintain supply inventory and assist in record management.
• Support office tasks and participate in team meetings.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program or relevant experience.
• Knowledge of medical instruments and procedures.
• Compliance with state medical practice requirements.
• Computer skills for basic office tasks.
• Commitment to ongoing career development.

Interpersonal Skills:

• Effective communication with patients, Podiatrists, and staff.
• Positive interaction to promote teamwork.
