Medical Assistant-Plastic Surgery

Busy Plastic Surgery office looking for a highly motivated, personable and dedicated Medical Assistant in a dynamic, state-of-the-art, practice in San Francisco.

This is full-time position, Monday through Friday from 8:30 am - 5:30 pm. Our ideal candidate would be a poised, friendly, energetic and flexible individual with at least 1 year experience working in a medical environment, assuming both clerical and clinical duties. This position requires a professional demeanor, excellent attention to detail and follow-through, as well as the ability to multi-task throughout the day. 

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Perform various clinical tasks such as wound care, suture removal, and dressing changes.
• Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining equipment.
• Handle administrative tasks such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and managing patient inquiries.
• Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to infection control protocols.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Medical Assistant.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to provide exceptional customer service to patients.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and basic computer skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
